About us...

A couple of old codgers who, between them, have been building and flying models for nearly 100 years.  Gawd.

We have a shared interest in electronics - one more on the digital/firmware side, the other being knowledgeable about the linear side of things, along with pcb design.

We're in North Wales, UK, and meet up with friends outdoor and indoor, to fly models of all types, all very casual.  Our outdoor flying patch is a huge expanse of peat bog, affectionately known as 'The Swamp' and, whilst the heather and grass make for safe landings, somehow models do seem to unerringly locate the odd rock, sticking up here and there.  We fly F/F, R/C, pretty much everything.

In the winter months, we hire the local sports hall and fly indoors - again, a wide assortment of models are flown, and it was seeing our colleagues experimenting with electronic timers for electric F/F, that prompted the development of the Tempo.  The first version is for brushless motors, but development of a version for brushed motors with integral ESC is underway, along with several other gadgets for the aeromodeller.
